Frequently Asked Questions for infant covers:
Q: How do I put on the cover?
A: Turn your car seat over, then take the straps that come out of the back and pull them through the slots. Slip the CIL cover over the existing padded cover, put straps back through the slots as before.
Q: How do I put on the canopy?
A: First you need to check to see if your canopy removes, you do this by pulling the fabric on your canopy all the way to one side, check in the middle of the plastic bar to see if you can pull the plastic bar apart. You will be able to tell right away, the plastic bar will be solid...which means it does not come off, or you'll see how the plastic bar does come apart. Most canopys come off, some peg perego brands do not remove. After pulling the plastic bar apart, take off the old canopy, and put on the CIL canopy. Some canopys come with two bars, you don't need two, but it you want both plastic bars, they both fit in the CIL canopy opening.
Q: Does it fit all infant carriers?
A: Yes, the seat part will definately, the canopy will work, if the existing canopy removes.
Q: What if my canopy does not come off?
A: I suggest just putting it over the exisitng canopy, and safety pinning it from underneathe.
Q: How do I put my Toddler cover on?
A: In the back of the Britax, where the shoulder straps adjust, take the straps out of the slots. Slip the CIL cover over the exisitng padded cover. Put the straps back through the slots as before.
Q: I have the Britax Roundabout, will it fit?
A: Yes, the covers were designed after the Roundabout, but since they have come out with bigger seats, it was made to fit the Marathon.
Q: What about the Britax that is one size bigger than the Marathon?
A: It may be a little snug, but should work.
Q: Will it fit other Toddler seats?
A: If it looks similar to the Britax, it probably will, but no garentees!
Q: Have these fabrics been treated to be Flame resistant?
A: No, flame resistant treatments take away all the softness of the fabrics.
Q: If I order a cover and it does not fit, will you take it back.
A: Most certainly, except we don't credit back shipping, only if the product is damaged.
